Purdue gets commitment from JC o-lineman Rod Green

Purdue added another piece to its offensive line on Sunday with a commitment from junior college transfer Rod Green.
Green played at Coffeyville (Kan.) C.C. The three-star recruit figures to play guard for Purdue, where he likely will be part of the depth. Green will enroll in January and have three years of eligibility.
Green is the fifth player to commit to Purdue today, joining portal additions Jamarious Dinkins (Kentucky DL), Corey Stewart (Ball State OT) and DJ Wingfield (New Mexico OT) along with prep WR Donovan Hamilton.

The 6-5, 315-pound Springfield, Ohio, native attended Grambling out of high school before transferring to Tennessee State in 2022. Green attended Coffeyville for the 2023 campaign.
Green visited Purdue for the Indiana game in late November. Houston, Virginia Tech, BYU, Tulsa and Arizona State, among others, also were involved for Green.
