Purdue in the Pros: Week 17
Markus Bailey – Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals’ Monday night matchup vs. the Bills was suspended following a life-threatening injury to Buffalo’s Damar Hamlin. The game will not be made up this week, and it remains unclear if it will be made up at all as of this story’s publication.
Derrick Barnes – Detroit Lions
As Detroit dominated Chicago 41-10, Barnes saw 27 snaps on defense and 15 on special teams, recording one tackle. Barnes has been a consistent presence for the Lions over his two seasons in Honolulu Blue, and they still have an outside chance to make the playoffs as they prepare to take on Green Bay at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday.
David Bell – Cleveland Browns
The rookie wideout played just 15 snaps in the Browns’ 24-10 win over Washington on Sunday and did not see a target. It’s been an up-and-down rookie campaign for Bell, but he’ll look to finish strong against a divisional rival when Cleveland heads to Pittsburgh for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Sunday.
Ja’Whaun Bentley – New England Patriots
Per usual, Bentley started at middle linebacker for the Patriots’ 23-21 win over the Dolphins, recording seven tackles and a hurry of the quarterback. He’s been one of the most consistent presences on the Patriot roster in recent years and will cap off his fifth NFL season at 1 p.m. when New England heads to Buffalo.
David Blough – Arizona Cardinals
Blough saw his first action of the season, earning the start for Arizona after injuries to Kyler Murray and Trace McSorley. He completed 24 of 40 pass attempts for 222 yards and a touchdown as the Cardinals fell 20-19 to the Falcons. Blough also added seven rushing yards on a pair of attempts. He projects to get the start in the season finale on Sunday when the Cardinals take on San Francisco at 4:25 p.m.
Anthony Brown – Dallas Cowboys
Brown’s season appears to be done due to an Achilles injury.
Brycen Hopkins – Los Angeles Rams
Hopkins started for the Rams in their 31-10 crosstown loss to the Chargers, playing 19 snaps and catching his only target for a gain of 21 yards. He’s not had the consistency he hoped for in his third NFL season, but he’ll get the chance to finish strong when the Rams travel to Seattle for a 4:25 p.m. kick on Sunday.
Zander Horvath – Los Angeles Chargers
Horvath was inactive due to an ankle injury in the Chargers’ 31-10 win over the Rams. It’s too early to tell on his status for Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. kickoff against Denver, but it’s unlikely they rush him back with the playoffs ahead.

George Karlaftis – Kansas City Chiefs
Karlaftis continued his strong rookie campaign, recording a sack to bring his season total to five-and-a-half as Kansas City skated past Denver 27-24. The Chiefs can clinch the top seed in the AFC with a win over Las Vegas at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Dennis Kelly – Indianapolis Colts
The veteran offensive lineman was limited to special teams duty in the Colts’ 38-10 loss to the Giants. Kelly will wrap up his 11th NFL season on Sunday when the Colts host the Texans at 1 p.m.
DaMarcus Mitchell – New England Patriots
Mitchell’s rookie season has been spent on special teams, where he’s developed into a mainstay for the Patriots. He saw 17 snaps on a variety of units in their 23-21 win over Miami, and he’ll likely do the same in the season finale at Buffalo on Sunday.
Rondale Moore – Arizona Cardinals
Moore’s season is officially done due to a groin injury.
Raheem Mostert – Miami Dolphins
Mostert started at running back, getting 30 snaps in the Dolphins’ 23-21 loss to the Patriots. While his nine carries resulted in 29 yards, he led the Dolphins with eight receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. He’ll seek to cap off a strong season as the Dolphins host the Jets at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Jordan Roos – Tennessee Titans
For the second-straight week, Roos started at right guard for the Titans, this time playing all 65 snaps in their 27-13 loss to Dallas on Thursday night. He’ll suit up one last time for the season on Saturday night as the Titans take on the Jaguars at 8:15 p.m.
