Purdue in the Pros: Week 8
Of the 13 Purdue players on NFL active rosters, 11 suited up for their teams in week six of the season. How did they perform? GoldandBlack.com takes a look in our weekly Purdue in the Pros roundup.

LB MARKUS BAILEY – CINCINNATI BENGALS
Bailey saw 15 snaps of special teams action in the Bengals’ 31-17 win over the 49ers. The now-hot Bengals will face a huge test against Buffalo in prime time on Sunday Night Football this week.
LB DERRICK BARNES – DETROIT LIONS
Barnes recorded a sole tackle in the Lions’ 26-14 win over Las Vegas on Monday night, playing 17 snaps at linebacker. In a crowded linebacker room, he’s battling rookie Jack Campbell for playing time. The Lions, now 6-2, will spend week nine on their bye.
WR DAVID BELL – CLEVELAND BROWNS
Bell saw three snaps as the Browns fell 24-20 in Seattle. Action remains hard to come by for the second-year receiver from Indianapolis, but he’ll hope to make an impact against former teammate Rondale Moore and the Cardinals at 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.
LB JA’WHAUN BENTLEY – NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Bentley played 20 snaps before leaving the game with a hamstring injury as New England fell 31-17 against Miami on Sunday. The veteran has been a mainstay in the Patriots’ lineup over the past few years, but his status remains in question for Sunday’s game against Washington at 1 p.m. E.T.
CB ANTHONY BROWN – SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Brown saw two snaps of special teams action for the 49ers as they fell 31-17 to the Bengals. The veteran corner’s seen very limited action since signing with the Niners last month, but he could see his role expand as the year progresses. San Francisco will spend week nine on its bye.
TE PAYNE DURHAM – TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Durham played eight snaps and saw a pass thrown his direction in the Buccaneers’ 24-16 Thursday night loss against the Bills. The Bucs, now 3-4, will hope to get back in the win column in Houston at 1 p.m. E.T. next Sunday.
LB JALEN GRAHAM – SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Graham remained inactive for the 49ers 31-17 loss against the Bengals on Sunday. He still awaits his first NFL regular season action as the Niners enter their week nine bye.

TE BRYCEN HOPKINS – LOS ANGELES RAMS
Hopkins recorded no stats during his five snaps in the Rams’ 43-20 defeat in Dallas on Sunday. He’ll hope to get back on the stat sheet when the Rams head to Green Bay for a 1 p.m. E.T. kickoff next week.
WR CHARLIE JONES – CINCINNATI BENGALS
Jones is now eligible to come off the injured reserve list, but he remained there for Sunday’s game against San Francisco. He could be re-activated for this week’s Sunday night showdown against Buffalo.
DE GEORGE KARLAFTIS – KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
“Big George” recorded a pair of sacks and forced a fumble in the Chiefs’ shocking 24-9 loss in Denver on Sunday. He totaled six pressures, continuing to rank among the league’s leaders in that category. The Chiefs will hope to bounce back in an early morning showdown against Miami at 9:30 a.m. E.T.
WR RONDALE MOORE – ARIZONA CARDINALS
Moore saw the field on 54 of 76 offensive snaps in the Cardinals’ 31-24 loss to Baltimore, catching two passes for ten yards and rushing twice for 11 yards. He’ll face off against his former teammate David Bell and the Browns at 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.
RB RAHEEM MOSTERT – MIAMI DOLPHINS
Mostert carried 13 times for 46 yards, including his 10th touchdown of the season as the Dolphins took down the Patriots 31-17 on Sunday. His standout season continues, as he sits among the league leaders in all rushing categories. He’ll look to keep it going when the Dolphins take on the Chiefs in an overseas 9:30 a.m. E.T. game on Sunday.
QB AIDAN O’CONNELL – LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
O’Connell was active but did not see any action in the Raiders’ Monday night loss in Detroit. With starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo back, O’Connell will continue to compete with Brian Hoyer for the backup spot. The Raiders host the Giants at 4:25 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.
