Purdue QB Hudson Card, CB Nyland Green out vs. No. 2 Oregon

GoldandBlack.com has learned that Purdue quarterback Hudson Card will not play in tonight’s game vs. No. 2 Oregon as he continues to come out of concussion protocol. Card also missed last week’s game at Illinois.
On Monday, Ryan Walters announced Ryan Browne would be making his second career start on Friday for Purdue (1-5 overall; 0-3 Big Ten) vs. Oregon (6-0; 3-0).
“Ryan Browne will start the game on Friday,” said Walters. “I think just the way he played it would be unfair not to.”

Walters was unsure of Card’s availability on Monday.
“I’m not sure if Hudson will be available or not,” said Walters.
Purdue also will be without starting CB Nyland Green, who is injured. He started the previous three games after missing the first three with a foot injury. He has eight tackles, three PBUs, one sack and one TFL.
