Purdue TE Garrett Miller is in the portal

Another Purdue player has entered the transfer portal: Tight end Garrett Miller, who has up to two years of eligibility.
Miller leaves West Lafayette having made 51 receptions for 456 yards and three TDs.
A Round Rock, Texas, native, Miller missed the 2022 season with a knee injury suffered in training camp. He suffered another injury setback late this season. Miller redshirted as a freshman in 2019.

The 6-5, 250-pound Miller made a career-high 30 receptions in 2023, going for 243 yards and two TDs. His best game of the season came vs. Minnesota, when he recorded six catches for 65 yards and one touchdown.
Tight end is considered a strong position for Purdue, with Max Klare breaking out in 2023 before suffering a season-ending injury. George Burhenn also flashed late in the season. And Drew Biber is a rising player. Purdue also is expected to sign 2024 TE Tayvion Galloway.
