Purdue's Trey Kaufman-Renn will play at Alabama

Purdue’s Trey Kaufman-Renn will play at Alabama, he said Wednesday/
Purdue’s leading scorer from last season and a preseason All-America pick now, Kaufman-Renn played in the Boilermakers’ two exhibition games before hurting his hip in practice prior to the opener vs. Evansville. He did practice in a very limited capacity before the Oakland game, but again watched the game in street clothes. Painter said last week that Kaufman-Renn underwent imagining that revealed nothing alarming.
Now a forward again after playing last season at center, Kaufman-Renn has left an opening that’s been filled by perimeter-oriented newcomers Jack Benter and Liam Murphy.
