Alabama post transfer set to visit South Carolina
South Carolina men’s basketball is scheduled to host Alabama transfer portal big man Nick Pringle on an official visit this weekend, GamecockCentral has confirmed.
The State’s Jordan Kaye was the first to report the visit, which is set to begin on Friday.
Head coach Lamont Paris and the entire staff met with Pringle in Tuscaloosa last week as the 6-foot-10, 230-pounder has emerged as a priority target for the Gamecocks.
The former Whale Branch standout averaged 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds for the Tide this past season and ended up playing a huge role in their Final Four run.
Pringle is ranked the No. 96 overall prospect in the portal by 247Sports.

Brickus earned third-team All-A10 honors this past season after averaging 13.9 points, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals this season, hitting 40 percent of his 3-point attempts.
On3 considers the 5-foot-11, 205-pound Brickus the No. 19 point guard and No. 116 overall prospect in the portal at this time.
South Carolina landed Palmetto State native and former Missouri big-man Jordan Butler out of the portal on Sunday and they’d still like to add a guard and a big to this cycle, with Brickus and Pringle emerging as primary targets.
