Elijah Caldwell locks in with South Carolina
Rock Hill (S.C.) Northwestern class of 2023 three-star wide receiver Elijah Caldwell has officially signed with South Carolina and his addition was announced by the school Wednesday morning after Caldwell committed to the Gamecocks last week.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder chose the Gamecocks over N.C. State and was recruited to Carolina by wide receivers coach Justin Stepp.

Caldwell originally committed to West Virginia in July but decommitted in December just before the early signing period and instead chose to wait until February to sign.
That proved to be a strong move by the Palmetto State playmaker as the Shrine Bowl performer added an offer from N.C. State in December and then added scholarships from Georgia Tech, Purdue and the Gamecocks.
