Eaglestaff committed to Lamont Paris and the Gamecocks at the end of an official visit to the school.
Eaglestaff has one year of eligibility left.
He is South Carolina’s second transfer portal pledge in as many days after Providence big-man Christ Essandoko committed to the Gamecocks on Saturday following his official visit. Essandoko is considered a four-star prospect and the No. 127 overall and No. 34 power forward in the transfer portal.
The Gamecocks are expected to be incredibly active in the transfer portal as Paris looks to rebuild the roster.
