Final injury report is in for South Carolina's afternoon matchup with Oklahoma

South Carolina is back at home for a pivotal matchup against No. 14 Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon.
With 90 minutes until kickoff from Williams-Brice Stadium (12:45 p.m., SECN), the final SEC availability report is in. The Gamecocks will be getting back one key starter on defense for Saturday.
Defensive back Brandon Cisse, who was listed as probable all week, is good to go and no longer appears on the report. Cisse went down with a knee injury at the beginning of the second quarter against LSU last weekend. Head coach Shane Beamer said he practiced during the week with the hope he’d be ready to play this weekend.
South Carolina will be down four players for Saturday’s game as wide receiver Brian Rowe, offensive linemen Nolan Hay and Cason Henry, and defensive lineman Davonte Miles are all listed as out.
However, the Gamecocks will get one other player back off the report. Offensive lineman Jatavius Shivers, who appeared questionable on Friday, is listed as a game-time decision. He was spotted wearing a club on his right hand when the team came in during Gamecock Walk.
Offensive linemen Shed Sarratt and Markee Anderson and defensive lineman Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy were all on the report earlier in the week but came off in the days leading up to the game.
Oklahoma has a long list of players who are unable to go on Saturday. Running back Jovantae Barnes, wide receiver Keontez Lewis, defensive back Kendel Dolby, tight end Kade McIntyre, and offensive linemen Troy Everett, Jacob Sexton, and Jake Taylor are all out.

Lewis is the most notable Sooner who will not be available in this game. He’s fourth on the team in receiving with 19 catches for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
Last season, the SEC approved a player availability injury report system for football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball.
SEC school personnel must submit availability reports three days before each football game, with daily updates leading to a final report 90 minutes before game time. For basketball and baseball, reports are filed the night before, with an update on game day.
When schools submit injury reports, players will be designated as available, probable, doubtful, and questionable before game day. On game day, designations will be available, game-time decision or out. The model follows injury reports similar to the NFL.
