South Carolina softball continued its recruiting hot streak on Tuesday when Taunton (Ma.) four-star catcher Bella Bourque committed to the Gamecocks.

Bourque is the No. 122 overall prospect in the 2027 class and the No. 19 catcher, according to Softball America/On3.

Bourque is the second pledge to the Gamecocks today after Black Mountain (N.C.) Charles D. Owen four-star middle infielder Mia Roland announced a commitment to the Gamecocks on social media Tuesday afternoon.

The Gamecocks now have five commitments for the class of 2027.

Last week, South Carolina added Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Carolina Forest four-star pitcher Kaysen Warehime, Atlanta (Ga.) Riverwood four-star pitcher May Weis, and Fox Lake (Wis.) Beaver Dam three-star corner infielder Kendall Fakes to the class following weekend visits to the school.
