South Carolina is 2-3 in noon games under Shane Beamer, 0-1 at home. The lone game was a loss to Georgia. The Gamecocks are 2-4 in midday games since 2021 and 2-1 at home.

In night games under Beamer, South Carolina is 11-6 in night games. The Gamecocks are 10-2 at home night games with five of those wins coming against SEC teams. The lone losses at home in night games came in Beamer’s first season in contests against Kentucky and Clemson.

The Gamecocks have played four of their first five games at night this season–North Carolina, Furman, Mississippi State and Tennessee–with a midday game against Georgia.

South Carolina is 10-30-3 all-time against the Gators. It’s 6-7 over the last 13 games in this series dating back to 2010. The Gamecocks are 8-12 all-time against the Gators at Williams-Brice.

Over the last five games in this series against Florida at home, South Carolina is 3-2, including a 40-17 win over the Dan Mullen-led Gators in Beamer’s first season. That was the largest margin for a South Carolina victory in the series.

That sparked a stronger finish to the season. South Carolina beat Auburn a few weeks later to reach bowl eligibility and ultimately won the Duke’s Mayo Bowl over North Carolina to cap the 2021 season.

Last year Florida walloped the Gamecocks in Gainesville 38-6, the final loss before wins over Tennessee and Clemson.

South Carolina is off to a 2-3 start to the season and are 1-2 through the first three conference games of the season. The Gamecocks are coming off a 41-20 loss to Tennessee on the road.

All three of the Gamecocks’ losses this season have come away from home: a neutral site loss to North Carolina and road games at Georgia and Tennessee.

The Gators have had a very up-and-down start to Billy Napier’s second season while off to a 3-2 start. Florida started the year 3-1 with the lone loss at Utah while beating McNeese, Tennessee and Charlotte.
