Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 4 recap

The National Football League wrapped up Week 4 on Monday night in a clash between the Bengals and Broncos in the back half of a Monday Night Football slate. From a scorigami tie to a slick, new look for the Miami Dolphins, Week 4 delivered the goods across the NFL slate.
Here is a look at how every former Gamecock looked across the league.
AFC West
Kyle Kennard – EDGE/outside linebacker, Los Angeles Chargers
Kennard saw limited action and failed to record a stat in his second career NFL game against the Giants.
Tonka Hemingway – Defensive tackle, Las Vegas Raiders
Hemingway was a healthy scratch for the Raiders against the Bears.
Nate Adkins – Tight end, Denver Broncos.
Adkins caught two passes for five yards on Monday, with the first going for seven and the second going for -2.
Nick Gargiulo – Guard, Denver Broncos
Gargiulo remains on the IR after tearing his ACL in the preseason.
Adam Prentice – Fullback, Denver Broncos
Prentice got one carry for four yards in the Monday night victory.
Zacch Pickens – Defensive end, Kansas City Chiefs
Pickens remains on the Chiefs’ practice squad.
AFC East
TJ Sanders – Defensive tackle, Buffalo Bills
Sanders provided solid pressure on the Saints’ Spencer Rattler and assisted on a tackle in the blowout win.
Cam Smith – Cornerback, Miami Dolphins
Smith remains on the Dolphins’ “Reserve/Non-football injury” list as of Sept. 15.
Alex Huntley – Defensive tackle, Miami Dolphins
Huntley remains on the Dolphins’ practice squad.
Marcellas Dial – Defensive back, New England Patriots
Dial is sidelined with a torn ACL and will not return in 2025.
AFC North
Raheim “Rocket” Sanders – Running back, Cleveland Browns
Sanders was labeled inactive in the Browns’ Week 4 contest.
Demetrius Knight II – Linebacker, Cincinnati Bengals
Knight got the start for the Bengals in Week 4. Despite the loss, the rookie racked up a team-high 10 tackles and made an impressive pass deflection.
AFC South
Chris Lammons – Cornerback, Indianapolis Colts
Lammons remains on the Colts’ practice squad after not making the franchise’s 53-man roster.
NFC South
Jovaughn Gwyn – Center, Atlanta Falcons
Gwyn was active but did not play for the Falcons in Week 4.
Joshua Simon – Tight end, Atlanta Falcons
Simon was active but did not feature in the Falcons’ Week 4 contest.
Jaycee Horn – Cornerback, Carolina Panthers
Horn struggled in the Panthers’ loss, recording only one tackle and allowing a touchdown.
Xavier Legette – Wide receiver, Carolina Panthers
Legette missed Sunday’s game as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. The second-year wideout is listed as day-to-day.
Dalevon Campbell – Wide receiver, Carolina Panthers
Campbell left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury in what was another blow to the Panthers’ injury-riddled wide receiver room.
DJ Wonnum – Outside linebacker, Carolina Panthers
Wonnum was inactive on Sunday against the Patriots as he continues to nurse a hip injury.
Rico Dowdle – Running back, Carolina Panthers
Dowdle continues to struggle in finding the success he had a season ago with the Cowboys. Against the Patriots on Sunday, he rushed for 32 yards on nine carries.
Bam Martin-Scott – Inside linebacker, Carolina Panthers
Martin-Scott failed to record a tackle for the second time this season, the other coming in the opener against Jacksonville.
Israel Mukuamu – Defensive back, Carolina Panthers
Mukuamu remains with the Panthers’ practice squad after being cut by Dallas.
Spencer Rattler – Quarterback, New Orleans Saints
Rattler struggled in a blowout loss to Buffalo that saw the second-year quarterback fail to throw for 200 yards for the first time this season. It was Rattler’s second game of the season being sacked three times.
Torricelli Simpkins III – Guard/Center, New Orleans Saints
Simpkins saw action at right guard after the injury to Cesar Ruiz, who is now sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a high-ankle sprain.

Kroger punted only three times in Sunday’s loss to Buffalo, downing two inside the two and letting one go for a touchback.
NFC North
Keisean Nixon – Cornerback, Green Bay Packers
Nixon was able to record four tackles and two pass deflections despite a difficult day in the tie against Dallas.
Kingsley Enagbare – Defensive end, Green Bay Packers
Enagbare picked up a tackle in Sunday night’s tie against Dallas.
Vershon Lee – Guard/Center, Minnesota Vikings
Lee remains on the Vikings’ practice squad.
NFC East
Deebo Samuel – Wide receiver, Washington Commanders
Deebo had his second breakout performance with the Commanders on Sunday, recording six receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown. The veteran wideout ranked in the top five among Commanders’ offensive players in PFF grade.
Javon Kinlaw – Defensive tackle, Washington Commanders
Kinlaw continued to prove to be a strong offseason acquisition by the Commanders, recording three tackles and providing good pressure on Michael Penix Jr despite the loss.
Darius Rush – Defensive back, Washington Commanders
Rush still remains a member of the Commanders’ practice squad.
Dante Miller – Running back, New York Giants
Miller remains on the Giants’ practice squad.
Jalen Brooks – Wide receiver, Dallas Cowboys
Brooks still fights to get back on the Cowboys’ active roster from the practice squad.
Jadaveon Clowney – Linebacker, Dallas Cowboys
Clowney put together a strong debut with the Cowboys, forcing a fumble on Jordan Love and recording three tackles.
NFC West
Nick Emmanwori – Safety, Seattle Seahawks
Emmanwori remains sidelined with his week one injury. However, the rookie is expected to return in week five.
Ernest Jones IV – Inside linebacker, Seattle Seahawks
Jones continued his strong start to 2025 by recording eight tackles and half a sack against the Cardinals on Thursday night.
