Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 7 recap

Week 7 wrapped up with two former South Carolina Gamecocks on the field against the Texans on Monday night.
Highlight reel performances came for some former Gamecocks, while some remained on the inactive list, healthy or otherwise. Here’s a look at how every former Gamecock performed in Week 7.
AFC West
Kyle Kennard – EDGE/outside linebacker, Los Angeles Chargers
Kennard was inactive for the Chargers in Week 7.
Tonka Hemingway – Defensive tackle, Las Vegas Raiders
Hemingway was inactive for the second straight week for the Raiders.
Nate Adkins – Tight end, Denver Broncos
Adkins caught two passes for 20 yards, including a long of 15, in London on Sunday morning.
Nick Gargiulo – Guard, Denver Broncos
Gargiulo remains on the IR after tearing his ACL in the preseason.
Adam Prentice – Fullback, Denver Broncos
Prentice didn’t record any stats for the Broncos in the London game on Sunday morning.
Zacch Pickens – Defensive end, Kansas City Chiefs
Pickens remains on the Chiefs’ practice squad.
AFC East
TJ Sanders – Defensive tackle, Buffalo Bills
Sanders remains on the Bills’ IR in Week 7.
Alex Huntley – Defensive tackle, Miami Dolphins
Huntley remains on the Dolphins’ practice squad.
Marcellas Dial – Defensive back, New England Patriots
Dial is sidelined with a torn ACL and will not return in 2025.
AFC North
Raheim “Rocket” Sanders – Running back, Cleveland Browns
Sanders was a healthy scratch for the Browns in Week 7.
Demetrius Knight II – Linebacker, Cincinnati Bengals
Knight picked up four tackles against the Steelers on Thursday night.
AFC South
Chris Lammons – Cornerback, Indianapolis Colts
Lammons picked up three tackles against the Chargers on Sunday, providing solid punt coverage at times.
NFC South
Jovaughn Gwyn – Center, Atlanta Falcons
Gwyn did not feature in the Falcons’ Sunday game.
Joshua Simon – Tight end, Atlanta Falcons
Simon remains on the Falcons’ practice squad.
Jaycee Horn – Cornerback, Carolina Panthers
Horn made headlines after catching two interceptions in the Panthers’ win over the Jets. He also added one tackle and two pass deflections to his day.
Xavier Legette – Wide receiver, Carolina Panthers
Legette caught a season-high 92 yards on nine receptions in the Panthers’ win as the second-year player tries to pull out of his early-season sophomore slump.
DJ Wonnum – Outside linebacker, Carolina Panthers
Wonnum picked up two solo tackles in the Panthers’ win on Sunday.
Rico Dowdle – Running back, Carolina Panthers
After two record-setting weeks, Dowdle picked up 79 yards on 17 carries against the Jets. The game was starting running back Chubba Hubbard’s return after missing the last two weeks.

Spencer Rattler – Quarterback, New Orleans Saints
Rattler struggled against the Bears, throwing a season-high three interceptions and taking four sacks. However, he also threw for a season-high 233 yards and two touchdowns.
Torricelli Simpkins III – Guard/Center, New Orleans Saints
Simpkins III was a healthy scratch for the Saints on Sunday.
Kai Kroeger – Punter, New Orleans Saints
Kroeger continues to struggle as a rookie punter, having his third straight week without downing one inside the 20-yard line.

Keisean Nixon – Cornerback, Green Bay Packers
Nixon struggled in coverage against the Cardinals on Sunday. He recorded two tackles and one pass defense on the stat sheet.
Kingsley Enagbare – Defensive end, Green Bay Packers
Enagbare recorded a season-high five tackles for the Packers on Sunday.
Vershon Lee – Guard/Center, Minnesota Vikings
Lee remains on the Vikings’ practice squad.
NFC East
Deebo Samuel – Wide receiver, Washington Commanders
Samuel missed Week 7 against Dallas on Saturday night with a lingering heel injury.
Javon Kinlaw – Defensive tackle, Washington Commanders
Kinlaw recorded only one tackle for the third time in the 2025-26 season against Dallas.
Darius Rush – Defensive back, Washington Commanders
Rush remains a member of the Commanders’ practice squad.
Dante Miller – Running back, New York Giants
Miller remains on the Giants’ practice squad
Jalen Brooks – Wide receiver, Dallas Cowboys
Brooks remains on the Cowboys’ practice squad.
Jadaveon Clowney – Linebacker, Dallas Cowboys
Clowney picked up a season-high five tackles on Sunday night against Washington.
NFC West
Nick Emmanwori – Safety, Seattle Seahawks
Emmanwori picked up a pair of tackles and pass deflections in the Monday night win over the Texans.
Ernest Jones IV – Inside linebacker, Seattle Seahawks
Jones racked up a season-high 11 tackles on Monday night against the Texans. He also recorded his third interception of the season.
