In-state 4-star receiver Jordon Gidron signs with South Carolina

It’s signing day in South Carolina, and signatures from prospects continue to roll in for Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks program.
The latest player to sign his paperwork with South Carolina football is Columbia, South Carolina wide receiver Jordon Gidron.

Gidron is rated by the On3 Industry Ranking as a 4-star prospect. He is ranked No. 242 nationally, No. 6 in South Carolina, and No. 32 among 2025 wideouts. Gidron reclassified from the class of 2026 to the class of 2025 and is getting to campus early.

Why South Carolina? “It was great, just the amount of love they showed me throughout the week was great, and obviously the game was great, probably the best game to come to,” Gidron told GamecockCentral. “The offense looked good, defense looked good, and just things that we did over the weekend were just great and just showed me why I chose the right place.”
