In-state receiver Sequel Patterson signs with South Carolina
It’s signing day in South Carolina, and signatures from prospects continue to roll in for Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks program.
The latest player to sign his paperwork with South Carolina football is in-state product and Indian Land (SC) wide receiver Sequel Patterson.

The Rivals Industry Ranking rates Patterson as a four-star prospect. He is ranked No. 251 nationally, No. 5 in South Carolina, and No. 43 amongst wide receivers.

Patterson was once a candidate to be a five-star athlete in the class of 2027. He reclassified to 2026 and committed to the Gamecocks this summer.
