South Carolina in-state target Jayden Bradford heading to IMG

South Carolina in-state recruiting target Jayden Bradford will play his final two seasons of high school eligibility at IMG Academy.
The 6-foot-1, 174-pound four-star class of 2024 prospect announced on Twitter Tuesday that he was transferring from Chapin to IMG, known by many as the premier sports academy in the country.
“After much consideration, prayer, and talks with family and friends I will be transferring to IMG Academy to play on its national team,” Bradford said in a statement. “I want to thank the Chapin family and community for embracing me and my family and giving our team the support to do our best day in and day out. I want to thank my coaches for pushing me to never be complacent and strive for perfection.”
Prior to the impending move to IMG, Bradford is considered the No. 1 prospect in the state of South Carolina for the class of 2024, according to the On3 Consensus.
The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – ranks Bradford as the No. 5 quarterback and the No. 60 overall prospect in his class.

Bradford will join another South Carolina native at IMG in former Dutch Fork standout Devin Hyatt, an On3 Consensus four-star wide receiver in the 2023 class.
Latest On3 RPM with Bradford
The On3 RPM debuted to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
The RPM gives South Carolina a 54.4 percent chance to land Bradford with Penn State and N.C. State checking in with equal 16.7 percent chances.
It will be interesting to see how the RPM adjusts with Bradford’s move to IMG.
