Since Harbor didn’t qualify for the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championship in Boston, MA, which is set to be held on March 8, he’ll be turning his attention to South Carolina’s outdoor track season. The Gamecocks first outdoor meet of the season is slated to be held in Conway, SC at Coastal Carolina on March 14. USC will hold their first meet at home the following weekend on March 22.
With spring football practices starting up for South Carolina in the coming weeks, (March 19), Harbor remains in constant communication with the football program.

“Nyck’s been awesome,” South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer said in late January. “He came to us and was like, ‘I want to be a track athlete. I want to help us win a championship in track, but I don’t want to miss out on anything football-wise.’ So he has been awesome. It’s not like he just goes to track, and then we see him every once in a while. He’s involved with football every day.”
The dual-sport athlete caught 12 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman for Beamer’s football program in 2023. He was the highest-ranked prospect for the Gamecocks’ 2023 recruiting class and returns as one of South Carolina’s most product wide receivers. The On3 Industry Ranking – a weighted average of all four major recruiting services – rated Harbor as the 21st-best football prospect in the country and as the nation’s number-one athlete.
