Nyck Harbor earns SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors in track & field

South Carolina dual-sport athlete Nyck Harbor earned SEC Track & Field Men’s Co-Freshman of the Week Tuesday afternoon.
It’s been a strong spring for Harbor as he had a pair of top-three finishes at the USC Outdoor Open this past Saturday in the 100m and 200m. He finished with a personal best time of 10.12 in the 100m finals to finish third overall with the third fastest time in program history.
Once his season ends, Harbor will transition back to football, where he’ll look to build off what he did as a freshman last year.
The 6-foot-5 receiver caught 12 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown for South Carolina in 2023.
