The Irmo Yellow Jackets hosted the Lexington Wildcats on Friday night at W.C. Hawkins Stadium.

DE Jaiden Bryant and OT Nate Carson continued to have solid night’s on the field. Both 2027 prospects are uncommitted and have offers from South Carolina. Bryant has been in attendance at all of South Carolina’s home games so far this season. This was my first time watching both athletes play outside of a camp setting. Bryant’s quickness off the edge is impressive. Lexington would double him frequently because of that.

Gamecock WR Donovan Murph was also in attendance at his alma mater. South Carolina is on a bye week this week.

Irmo would improve to 6-0 in their Region 4 AAAAA opener, defeating Lexington 35-0. It was also Homecoming and Bryant was crowned as the Junior Class Homecoming Rep. Recovering fumbles and wearing crowns, all in days work.
