South Carolina opened the season at the Aflac Kickoff Game against Virginia Tech on Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Gamecocks started slow, but pulled away in the second half defeating the Hokies 24-11. A 64-yard TD from Nyck Harbor sealed the deal.

South Carolina (1-0) hosts SC State next Saturday.
