Heading into year two of the Paul Mainieri era in Columbia, expectations are higher than they were last season. South Carolina landed one of the country’s top transfer portal classes and returned some of its best talent from the 2025 season.

Over the next week, the Gamecocks will play fall exhibitions against Charlotte and the College of Charleston (and former coach Chad Holbrook).
