South Carolina basketball has officially updated its roster ahead of the 2025-2026 season. Below are the 14 players on the current team, their listed heights and weights, and jersey numbers. Positions and eligibility for each player appear as they appear on the roster.

Some changes from last year’s official roster:
- Big man Jordan Butler is down from 240 pounds to 237.
- Wing Myles Stute is now on the roster at 6-7 and 221 pounds, bigger than his 6-6 and 210 listing from the 2024-2025 season.
- Guard Cam Scott gained two pounds during the offseason, moving from 6-6, 170 to 6-6, 172.
- Meechie Johnson now weighs 192 pounds, up eight pounds from his listed weight for the 2023-2024 season.
- Walk-on guards Lance Piper and Weston Coggeshall are not on the initial roster; with the NCAA’s changes to scholarship rules, men’s basketball has a firm 15-spot limit, and all 15 can be on scholarship.
South Carolina basketball will begin its 2025-2026 season the first week of November. Early reports have indicated that the Gamecocks’ first game will be against the North Carolina A&T Aggies in Columbia.
