South Carolina sophomore EDGE Dylan Stewart has earned his way onto the midseason watch list for one of college football’s biggest awards. On Tuesday, the Lombardi Award Committee announced that the Gamecock standout had been added to the midseason watch list for the prestigious honor.

The Lombardi Award is given annually to the top national player who plays on the line of scrimmage or at linebacker. The midseason watch list includes 65 players.

So far in the 2025 season, Stewart has logged 27 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and nine tackles for loss. He has a pair of forced fumbles and several bone-crushing hits.

Last year, Stewart’s South Carolina EDGE-mate Kyle Kennard was a finalist for the Lombardi Award.
