A former South Carolina football staffer is getting his NFL opportunity. According to a report from 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz, the Philadelphia Eagles will be bringing on Preston Tiffany to their front office. At this time, his specific role with the Eagles is not known. Tiffany had worked most recently as the director of player personnel at LSU.

Tiffany is a University of South Carolina alum who worked in the Gamecocks’ recruiting department as a student assistant under former head coach Will Muschamp. Following his exit from Columbia (he graduated in 2020), he worked at Ole Miss, moving his way up from a recruiting assistant to becoming the Rebels’ director of player personnel. In total, he worked at South Carolina for three seasons, Ole Miss for four, and LSU for one.

During his time at South Carolina, Tiffany helped the Gamecocks reel in three top-25 recruiting classes. In his final year with the program, USC signed 15 players considered four-star prospects by at least one major recruiting outlet.
