During South Carolina football’s week two matchup against SC State, the Gamecocks announced the kickoff time for next week’s contest. When the Vanderbilt Commodores come to town in week three (the first SEC showdown of the year for either team), toe will meet leather at 7:45 p.m. SEC Network will broadcast the matchup, while the ESPN app makes it available via streaming.

At the time of this writing, both South Carolina and Vanderbilt are 1-0 on the 2025 season.

This offseason, the Southeastern Conference announced several game times but provided the Gamecocks with “broadcast windows” for the majority of their schedule. The Vanderbilt contest had a proposed starting time for either 7:00 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. The SEC elected to go with the later start time.

With the Vanderbilt kick now set, South Carolina knows the start time of two games remaining on the schedule. The end-of-season rivalry matchup against Clemson will be at Noon in Columbia. The rest of the Gamecocks’ schedule will be announced at later dates.
