South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers to host youth football camp in Columbia

South Carolina football quarterback LaNorris Sellers is one of the top players in the country at his position. The rising redshirt sophomore is a Heisman Trophy candidate heading into the 2025 season and has made countless preseason All-SEC and All-American lists. Pending his future plans, he could be in the NFL this time next year as most projections list him as a potential first-round pick next April.
Now, Sellers has an opportunity to pass on some of his expertise to the next generation.
On Sunday, July 20th, Sellers will host a youth football camp in Columbia. Taking place at the Strom Thurmond Wellness & Fitness Center fields (1000 Blossom Street), Sellers will lead a three-hour camp from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The camp will be available to players from ages 6-17. Tickets are available on ProSportPlex.com, and same-day registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Less than two weeks after his youth football camp, LaNorris Sellers and the Gamecocks will begin their own camp. USC’s fall camp (and most fall camps all around the country) will open the first few days of August. South Carolina will look to build on a strong finish to the 2024 regular season that saw Sellers break team records and, subsequently, the team win six games in a row for the first time since 2013.
Then, at the end of the month, South Carolina will take on Virginia Tech to open the 2025 season. The Gamecocks and Hokies will play on Sunday, August 31st in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Win would keep Carolina on track to compete for the College Football Playoff. A loss, though, would make that goal much more difficult to reach.
