South Carolina learns kickoff time for Missouri contest...sort of

On Monday, the University of South Carolina announced that the Gamecocks have learned the kickoff time for their first road matchup of the season. Well, sort of.

According to a release from USC, the Mayor’s Cup battle between South Carolina and Missouri will be a night game in “the other Columbia,” but the exact time (and network) has yet to be determined. The Gamecocks and Tigers will play on September 20th at either 7:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. ET. Either ESPN or ABC will broadcast the SEC contest. The ESPN app will stream the meeting, regardless of network.

Florida-Miami will also be on either ESPN or ABC at 7:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.

At the time of this writing, both Carolina and Mizzou are 2-0 on the 2025 season. The Gamecocks won the 2024 matchup, 34-30, in one of the most exciting showdowns of last year. The victory ended Missouri’s five-game winning streak in the series.

Before Shane Beamer’s team travels to CoMo, they another home SEC contest on the docket. This Saturday, the Gamecocks will play host to the Vanderbilt Commodores. The SEC opener will begin at 7:45 p.m. and will air on SEC Network.
