Recap of GamecockCentral's series on South Carolina football's top 10 players at each position

This summer, GamecockCentral ran a series on the top 10 players at each position in South Carolina football history.

Each week, Chris Clark, Wes Mitchell, and I created top 10 lists for a position, and Gamecock fans on the Insiders Forum went through a two-part voting process that nominated Gamecocks and selected the 10 best players at the same position.

You can check out the results below, with four voting numbers (three from GC staff and one from TIF) included to create a composite ranking. The composite ranking will include any player who received a final vote. Tie-breaker goes to the player included on the most ballots, and if still tied, goes to the player with the highest single place in the voting, and if still tied, goes to the player with the most all-conference selections while at South Carolina. A ballot without a player counts as an 11th-place vote.
