Junior college lineman, former SEC player sets South Carolina visit

Junior college offensive lineman David Conner posted on social media that he is visiting South Carolina this fall. The former Florida Gators, Colorado Buffaloes, and Texas State Bobcats blocker says he will be on campus on November 22nd for the Gamecocks’ home contest against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
Conner, who was part of the high school class of 2022, did not see any game action at his three FBS stops due to injuries and a redshirt. Now at Andrew Community College in Cuthbert, Georgia, he is healthy and playing well enough to pick up a handful of power conference offers. He boasts offers from Arkansas and Auburn in the SEC.
At this time, the trip to Columbia is not believed to be an official visit. Conner has not announced an offer from South Carolina.
