South Carolina officially signs top-100 defensive lineman Aiden Harris
It’s signing day in South Carolina, and future Gamecocks have signed their paperwork to officially become part of USC’s 2026 recruiting class.
The latest player to sign his paperwork with Gamecock football is four-star defensive lineman Aiden Harris, a Weddington (NC) product.

Harris, a consensus four-star prospect, is the No. 93 overall player in the Rivals Industry Ranking. He is also No. 9 nationally among defensive line prospects. Harris is No. 7, regardless of position, in a loaded class in North Carolina.

Listed as a defensive lineman, Harris played all over the front for Weddington. His future is likely at tackle in Columbia, but he has the combination of size and athleticism to play multiple roles up front on defense. At one time, he was the No. 1-ranked defensive lineman in the class of 2026. Harris has been locked in with the Gamecocks since his commitment in June.
