South Carolina commitment earns ratings bump, becomes top player nationally at position
On Monday, On3 updated its class of 2026 player rankings. In the new On300, South Carolina football commitment Zyon Guiles featured prominently.
The big offensive lineman from Carvers Bay High School now ranks as the top interior offensive lineman in the country. On3’s rankings include him as the No. 38 overall player nationally. That’s just outside of 5-star territory. He’s also the top-ranked prospect in the state of South Carolina. Previously, he was the No. 3 interior blocker in the 2026 cycle.

Listed at 6-4.5 and 290 pounds, Guiles has earned some major praise from On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power.
Power recently told GamecockCentral that Guiles has everything needed to be a high-level player at the college level. “I think for starters, he has a lot of what we look for among offensive line prospects, particularly interior offensive line prospects.” He added, “He has a very good size at around 6-foot-4.5, 290 pounds, and just kind of has a sturdy build and pairs that with functional movement skills. He’s a coordinated athlete and plays with a bunch of power and nastiness.” Power also used the words “dominant” and “vicious” to describe the future Gamecock.

South Carolina has signed seven On3 4-star offensive line prospects in the last three cycles. Guiles would give offensive line coach Lonnie Teasley his eighth blue-chip lineman since he took over for previous coach Greg Adkins, first on an interim basis and then in a full-time capacity.
Anthony Baxter is the other USC offensive line commitment in the ’26 class. 4-star safety J’Zavien Currence, 4-star tight end Jamel Howse, and 3-star linebacker/EDGE Keenan Britt round out the commit list.
