South Carolina men’s soccer has landed a significant offseason transfer, as Clemson forward Tyler Trimnal revealed his pledge to the Gamecocks on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder has been a key piece of the Clemson soccer roster for the past three seasons.

Trimnal played his high school ball at Andrew Jackson in Lancaster, where he was the MaxpPreps leading goal scorer in the state for all classifications. While finishing in the top five of his graduating class academically, Trimnal was also named to the ECNL All-National All-Region Team. He was also named a team captain for the 2019 US Club Soccer Champions.
