For the second straight week, South Carolina football is a double-digit dog.

The Gamecocks opened Sunday as a 13.5-point underdog to Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels, according to BetMGM.

The over/under for the game is set at 53.5 points.

That’s the exact same opening line as this past week’s matchup with Alabama.

Despite the heavy Vegan lean, South Carolina pushed the Crimson Tide to the brink for the second season in a row, surrendering an 8-point fourth-quarter lead to fall 29-22 at Williams-Brice Stadium.

It was the third loss in a row for the Gamecocks, who were beaten up by Oklahoma the week prior and lost a tight 20-10 battle with LSU the week before that.

Carolina has wins over Virginia Tech, South Carolina State, and Kentucky this season, with additional losses to Vanderbilt and Missouri.

Ole Miss (7-1, 4-1) appears on the brink of a College Football Playoff run. The Rebels are fresh off a Top 25 win over Oklahoma with their lone loss coming to Kirby Smart and Georgia.

Ole Miss beat Carolina 20-3 last season.

This season’s matchup at Vaught Hemingway Stadium will kick off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1st on ESPN.
