A Penn State graduate, Bachman worked at Oregon with current South Carolina Director of Player Personnel Darren Uscher, who landed his current job in Columbia last summer.
Uscher, who replaced Taylor Edwards in that role, quickly promoted two long-time recruiting staffers within the department to new positions with Sam Serbay becoming the new director of recruiting for offense and Brandon Middleton the new director of recruiting for defense.
