South Carolina promotes two within recruiting department

The addition of Darren Uscher as director of player personnel is not the only change to the South Carolina football recruiting department.
Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks have promoted two long-time recruiting staffers within the department to new positions with Sam Serbay becoming the new director of recruiting for offense and Brandon Middleton the new director of recruiting for defense. The new titles are confirmed on the school’s official website.

Serbay joined Beamer’s staff in July of 2021 and has primarily assisted Lonnie Teasley and Greg Adkins with the Gamecocks’ offensive line recruiting during that stretch.
Middleton joined the staff as a player personnel assistant in June of 2019, when he cut and evaluated high school film, evaluated opponent film for advanced scouting reports, and assisted with on-campus and gameday recruiting duties.
