South Carolina adds transfer portal running back from Big 12

South Carolina football has landed a commitment from transfer portal running back Isaiah Augustave, he announced on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder led Colorado in rushing last season, tallying 394 rushing yards on 85 carries and scoring 4 touchdowns.

Sources tell GamecockCentral.com that Augustave’s acquistion is not tied to the ongoing eligibility waiver request for Rahsul Faison, who transferred from Utah State to Columbia this offseason. The program is still awaiting an answer on that front.
Augustave will give Shane Beamer’s program additional talent and depth in a room that also includes scholarship backs Oscar Adaway, Jawarn Howell, Matthew Fuller, and Bradley Dunn.

After leaving Boulder this spring, Augustave was originally committed as a transfer to Virginia, but he reopened his recruitment back in May.
The Naples (Florida) native began his career at Arkansas, where he played in all 12 games as a true freshman in 2023. That season, Augustave rushed for 202 yards on 35 carries with one touchdown on the ground.
