Shane Beamer provides positive injury report
Not only did South Carolina football achieve its first win over Texas A&M in program history on Saturday night but for the first time this season, the Gamecocks entered a Sunday postgame with no new injuries on the latest injury report.
“Came out of the game healthy,” head coach Shane Beamer said on his Sunday teleconference. “No injuries to report which is rare for us on a Sunday. Happy about that. We continue to get healthier. And trying to get better and better.”

After experiencing a run of injuries in the early going of the season — including losing defensive starters Mo Kaba and Jordan Strachan for the rest of the year in Week 3 — South Carolina has gotten relatively healthy in recent weeks.
Safety Devonni Reed and defensive tackle Boogie Huntley both returned to action against Texas A&M on Saturday after missing the Kentucky game two weeks ago. Reserve guard Trai Jones also returned to the field after missing a couple of weeks.
EDGE Terrell Dawkins and wide receiver Corey Rucker missed Saturday’s game but Dawkins could be returning to action soon, Beamer said prior to the A&M game.
The Gamecocks defeated the Aggies 30-24 on Saturday night in front of a sold-out and rowdy Williams-Brice Stadium crowd.
The Gamecocks, 5-2 (2-2 SEC), are set to face Missouri on Saturday at home at 4:00 p.m.
