South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer seemed pretty optimistic on Tuesday about the injury status of most of the Gamecocks who missed all or parts of last week’s matchup with Oklahoma.

On Wednesday, the first SEC availability report of the week officially revealed the status of all of them.

EDGE Dylan Stewart, who exited the Oklahoma game with a hip injury, was not listed on Wednesday’s report meaning he’s expected to be available for this week’s matchup with Alabama.

Offensive lineman Shed Sarratt Jr. missed the Oklahoma game, while Nick Sharpe, Trovon Baugh, and Tree Babalade all went down during the game with undisclosed issues, but all have been cleared for this weekend too.

Offensive tackle Jatavius Shivers was listed as questionable on Wednesday, while center Nolan Hay and defensive tackle Monkell Goodwine are listed as probable.

As expected, offensive lineman Cason Henry has already been ruled out and it doesn’t appear he’ll return this season.

“Should all be good,” Beamer said Tuesday. “I think everybody will be back and healthy this week except Cason Henry. He’ll be out (and) I don’t think he’ll return this season, so certainly not playing this Saturday. But everybody else was back out there and practicing today.”

Stewart went to the locker room early in the Oklahoma matchup with a hip injury and then returned to action, only to exit again and not return.

Henry went down early in the Vanderbilt game with a shoulder injury. He looked good to go for Missouri, but then exited after just one play, and has not played since.

Sarratt went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter of the LSU game during Matthew Fuller’s 72-yard touchdown run. He was available this past weekend but did not see the field.

Hay earned his first career start with the Gamecocks against Missouri but exited with a knee injury and hasn’t been back since.

“Tro was at practice today,” Beamer said Tuesday. “Nick Sharpe was at practice today. Tree practiced today. Nolan Hay practiced today. Yes, every offensive lineman except for Cason, that has played in games, practiced today.”

Wide receiver Brian Rowe Jr., EDGE Anthony Addison, and defensive tackle Davonte Miles were all suspended for this past Saturday’s game but will be back this week.

The next update will be on Thursday, followed by another on Friday, and a final report 90 minutes before kickoff on Saturday.

Beamer also typically provides an injury update on his Thursday night call-in show.

Last season, the SEC approved a player availability injury report system for football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball.

SEC school personnel must submit availability reports three days before each football game, with daily updates leading to a final report 90 minutes before game time. For basketball and baseball, reports are filed the night before, with an update on game day.

When schools submit injury reports, players will be designated as available, probable, doubtful, and questionable before game day. On game day, designations will be available, game-time decision or out. The model follows injury reports similar to the NFL.

South Carolina hosts Alabama at Williams-Brice Stadium with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ABC.
