“The coaching staff and community are incredible,” Scarmardo told GamecockCentral. “This is an amazing place that I’m ready to fight for every single day. I can’t wait to get to work with the team and give everything I’ve got. There’s something truly special about South Carolina, I fell in love with this school the moment I stepped on campus. The world-class facilities, advanced technology, and top-tier training equipment will help me grow and develop in every area of my game.
“Getting the chance to play for such a high-class, competitive program is a dream come true. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity. Blessed to be a Gamecock!”
