Every game this year, win or loss, has been decided by multiple scores.

South Carolina is 18-14-1 all-time against the Wildcats but have largely been on the losing side of this series for the last decade.

The Gamecocks are 3-7 in their last 10 against Kentucky with only one win in the series since 2014. The last win in Lexington came in 2012, a 38-17 win.

Before hitting the road, the Gamecocks finish up their home stand with a noon kickoff against South Carolina.

The Gamecocks have played the Bulldogs twice, winning each game by double digits. South Carolina State is 1-2 this year with a 33-9 win over Bethune-Cookman in week two.

The Bulldogs have lost 56-10 to UCF to open the season and 41-27 to North Carolina A&T last week.

Kentucky is off to a good start record-wise, winning all four games its played this season. The Wildcats did have a close game at Florida that turned into a 10-point win and beat Northern Illinois last week 31-23.

The Wildcats, who are ranked No. 7 in the AP Poll, travel to No. 14 Ole Miss this weekend for a noon ET kickoff on ESPN.

South Carolina is coming off its best offensive performance of the year, a 56-20 walloping of the 49ers where the Gamecocks put up almost 550 yards of offense and rushed for five yards shy of 300 on the ground.

“We needed that from an offensive standpoint. When you run the ball as effectively as we did tonight it makes things so much in the passing game,” Shane Beamer said. “That was an efficient offense tonight. That’s what we expect. I told MarShawn (Lloyd) in there I don’t care if it’s Georgia, Charlotte or whoever. That’s how we need to play football around here.”
