South Carolina softball lands class of 2027 four-star pitcher

South Carolina softball has landed its first public commit for the 2027 class in Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Carolina Forest four-star pitcher Kaysen Warehime.
Warehime, one of the top pitchers in the Palmetto State, committed to the Gamecocks on Saturday and went public with her pledge on Sunday.
“I’m so blessed and excited to announce my commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of South Carolina!” Warehime said. “I want to thank Coach Ash, Coach Zack, Coach Katie, and Coach Jody for this incredible opportunity to compete at the next level! Go Cocks!!”
Softball America/On3 ranks Warehime as the No. 148 overall prospect in her class. She is considered the No. 49 pitcher and No. 3 overall prospect in the state of South Carolina.
