South Carolina starting shortstop enters transfer portal

South Carolina shortstop Henry Kaczmar has hit the transfer portal. He will enter with a do-not-contact tag, per On3’s Pete Nakos.
In his lone season with the Gamecocks in 2025, Kaczmar hit .315 with six homers and 28 RBI. He also hit seven doubles and three triples in the 53 games he started.
Kaczmar becomes the 15th current player to enter the portal, which opened on Monday and will remain open through July 1 for all players.
