Before her professional career started, Wilson was a hometown hero at South Carolina. A Heathwood Hall graduate and No. 1 recruit in the country in the class of 2014, Wilson more than lived up to the lofty expectations that surrounded her. She was a four-time All-American, the first three-time SEC Player of the Year, the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, and a consensus National Player of the Year. She also led the Gamecocks to their first national championship. Wilson owns the USC records for points and blocked shots.
Wilson and her Las Vegas Aces will begin the 2025 season on Saturday, May 17th. The Aces will take on the defending champion New York Liberty in a battle between the league’s best two teams. South Carolina fans who want to tune in can watch the contest on ABC at 1:00 p.m. The game will also stream on the ESPN app.
