South Carolina women's basketball legend signing on for two offseason gigs

When the WNBA season ends in October, South Carolina women’s basketball legend Aliyah Boston will not have a true offseason. The former Gamecock–whose Indiana Fever team is embroiled in a semifinal matchup with A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces, with the winner earning a chance to face the Phoenix Mercury for the WNBA title–has signed on for two offseason gigs.
According to a release from Unrivaled Basketball, Boston will play in the 3-on-3 league this winter. Last year, she played for Team Vinyl in the Miami-based league. Her Vinyl squad advanced to the Unrivaled title game.
Former Gamecock Allisha Gray will also play for Unrivaled this offseason. Unrivaled will announce its 2026 teams at a later date.
A short time later, Front Office Sports reported that Boston will again spend this offseason working for NBC Sports and Peacock. Like she did following her rookie season, Boston will work as a studio analyst and possible game analyst for the network’s BIG Ten women’s basketball coverage.
