A former Gamecock made her long-awaited return, the rich got richer in Vegas, and a couple of veterans are off to impressive starts. Catch up on all the former Gamecocks from the first week of the WNBA season.

Atlanta Dream (1-1)
Laeticia Amihere (2 games, 3.0 minutes, 1.0 pts, 2.0 rebs)
With Tina Charles in foul trouble against Phoenix, Amihere got more playing time and made a nice contribution.

Last week:
At Los Angeles (92-81 win): 1 minute, no stats
At Phoenix (88-85 loss): 5 minutes, 2 points, 4 rebounds

Allisha Gray (2 games (2 starts), 31.0 mpg, 17.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.5 bpg, 1.0 apg, 1.0 spg)
Gray picked up where she left off last season, filling up the box score and playing strong defense.

Last week:
At Los Angeles (92-81 win): 29 minutes*, 12 points, 3 rebounds, block
At Phoenix (88-85 loss): 33 minutes*, 22 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks

This week’s schedule:
Tuesday, May 21 vs Dallas (7:30 ET, League Pass)
Sunday, May 26 vs Minnesota (6:00 ET, League Pass)

Chicago Sky (1-1)
Kamilla Cardoso (Preseason stats: 1 game, 13 minutes, 6 pts, 4 rebs, 2 blocks, assist, steal)
Cardoso was productive in her first preseason action but suffered a shoulder injury that ended her preseason. She is expected to miss another 2-4 weeks.

Last week:
At Dallas: DNP
At Dallas: DNP

This week’s schedule:
Thursday, May 23 at New York (7:00 ET, Amazon Prime)
Saturday, May 25 vs Connecticut (8:00 ET, CBS Sports Network)

Connecticut Sun (2-0)
Ty Harris (2 games (2 starts), 27.5 mpg, 10.5 ppg, 3.0 apg, 1.0 spg, 50.0 3P%)
As a floor-spacer and secondary ball-handler, starting seems to suit Harris well. She shined in the season-opener against Indiana and was a key reason the game turned into a blowout.

Last week:
Vs Indiana (92-71 win): 28 minutes*, 16 points, 2 assists, steal
Vs Washington (84-77 win): 26 minutes*, 5 points, 4 assists, steal

Tiffany Mitchell (2 games, 7.5 mpg, 2.0 ppg, 0.5 rpg)
Mitchell seems to be still finding her role with the Sun.

Last week:
Vs Indiana (92-71 win): 12 minutes, 4 points, rebound, assist
Vs Washington (84-77 win): 3 minutes, no stats

This week’s schedule:
Monday, May 20 at Indiana (7:00 ET, ESPN)
Thursday, May 23 vs Minnesota (7:00 ET, League Pass)
Saturday, May 25 at Chicago (8:00 ET, CBS Sports Network)

Indiana Fever (0-3)
Aliyah Boston (3 games (3 starts), 30.7 mpg, 9.3 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.3 bg, 1.0 spg)
Indiana’s offense was often dysfunctional last season but has been a downright trainwreck so far this season. Boston and NaLyssa Smith have been afterthoughts while Caitlin Clark finds her way and instead of getting more easy scoring opportunities, they are getting fewer touches.

Last week:
At Connecticut (92-71 loss): 29 minutes*, 4 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks
Vs New York (102-66 loss): 30 minutes*, 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists
At New York (91-80 loss): 33 minutes*, 12 points, 7 rebounds, assist, steal, block

Victaria Saxton (1 game, 3.0 mpg)
Despite the blowout losses, Saxton has only appeared in one game as Indiana has let its young core play most of the game.

Last week:
At Connecticut (92-71 loss): DNP-CD
Vs New York (102-66 loss): 3 minutes, turnover
At New York (91-80 loss): DNP-CD

This week’s schedule:
Monday, May 20 vs Connecticut (7:00 ET, ESPN)
Wednesday, May 22 at Seattle (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Friday, May 24 at Los Angeles (10:00 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Saturday, May 25 at Las Vegas (9:00 ET, NBA TV/League Pass)

Las Vegas Aces (2-0)
A’ja Wilson (2 games (2 starts), 33.5 mpg, 26.0 ppg, 11.5 rpg, 3.0 apg, 2.5 bpg, 2.0 spg)
Two weeks ago, Wilson got a signature shoe. Last week she got $100,000 from the city of Las Vegas. Also, she has been dominant in the Aces’ first two games.

Last week:
Vs Phoenix (89-80 win): 35 minutes*, 30 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks
Vs Los Angeles (89-82 win): 32 minutes*, 22 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks

This week’s schedule:
Tuesday, May 21 vs Phoenix (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Saturday, May 25 vs Indiana (9:00 ET, NBA TV/League Pass)

Los Angeles Sparks (0-2)
Zia Cooke (2 games, 10.0 mpg, 2.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.0 apg)
After remaking its roster over the offseason, Los Angeles seems to still be figuring out its rotation, leading to fluctuating playing time for Cooke.

Last week:
Vs Atlanta (92-81 loss): 6 minutes, 1 point, 2 rebounds
At Las Vegas (89-82 loss): 14 minutes, 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists

This week’s schedule:
Tuesday, May 21 vs Washington (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Friday, May 24 vs Indiana (10:00 ET, Ion/League Pass)
Sunday, May 26 vs Dallas (9:00 ET, League Pass)

Phoenix Mercury (1-1)
Mikiah Herbert Harrigan (2 games, 7.0 mpg, 1.0 rpg, 1.0 spg)
Herbert Harrigan hasn’t scored yet this season, but she appeared in both of the Mercury’s games. It’s a feel-good story for someone who last appeared in a WNBA game three years earlier.

Last week:
At Las Vegas (89-80 loss): 6 minutes, rebound, block
Vs Atlanta (88-85 win): 8 minutes, 2 steals, rebound, assist

This week’s schedule:
Tuesday, May 21 at Las Vegas (10:00 ET, League Pass)
Thursday, May 23 vs Washington (10:00 ET, Amazon Prime)
Saturday, May 25 vs Dallas (10:00 ET, League Pass)

Unsigned
Brea Beal
Las Vegas cut Beal early in training camp.

Alaina Coates (Training Camp) (Preseason stats with Seattle: 2 games, 8.0 minutes, 3.0 pts, 1.0 reb, 1.0 block)
Coates got a long look in Seattle but didn’t fit in with the Storm’s rebuild. She’s got lots of experience, though, and will probably be one of the first calls for any team that needs post depth once the season starts.

Kaela Davis (Preseason stats with Seattle: 2 games, 14.0 minutes, 1.5 points, 3.5 rebs)
Davis was hoping to show she was fully recovered from an Achilles injury, but she didn’t do enough to convince Seattle.

Destanni Henderson (Preseason stats: 2 games, 19.0 minutes, 3.5 pts, 6.0 assists, 2.0 rebs, 1.0 steal)
Henderson was signed after training camp started and put up nice numbers in Atlanta’s two preseason games. Whenever Henny gets a shot, she contributes, but she can’t seem to stick anywhere.
