South Carolina women's basketball Rapid Reaction: No. 13 Oklahoma

South Carolina women’s basketball dominated No. 13 Oklahoma on Sunday for a 101-60 win. Here’s what stood out to me from the game.
– I’m not sure I can describe how dominant South Carolina’s defense was. Oklahoma is an elite offensive team, and South Carolina completely shut the Sooners down. South Carolina has upped the intensity on defense since the UCLA loss, but this was the most impressive showing yet.
That’s saying something, considering just one week ago, South Carolina held the top offense in the country (Texas) to 50 points.
WIN TICKETS: Kim Mulkey and undefeated LSU are coming to Columbia on Jan. 23
– There are also no words for MiLaysia Fulwiley. She could have filled the SportsCenter Top Ten by herself on Sunday. She’s also a big part of why South Carolina’s defense was so good.

Fulwiley can overplay and then recover in a way that I’m not sure anyone else in the country can. When she is locked in defensively like she has been lately, it takes South Carolina’s defense to another level.
– I often say one game does not make a season and caution against overreacting to one game. But nobody is playing better than South Carolina right now, including UCLA. There is still a long way to go, and a lot can happen before April 6 in Tampa, but the Gamecocks have to be the favorites to repeat.
