This week, Rivals released its initial women’s basketball recruiting rankings for the class of 2027. The top-50 list includes some of the top talents in the sport, and as one might expect, a large number of big-time players are also South Carolina women’s basketball targets.

Below is a list of players with Gamecock offers and their places in the Rivals rankings. Because some players announce all of their offers publicly and some don’t, this will not be a 100% exhaustive list. A player making this list does not necessarily mean that the player (or South Carolina) will remain interested throughout the entire recruiting process. However, each prospect below holds a public Gamecock offer at the time of this writing.

6-5 center Khalia Hartwell from Westside High School in Anderson, South Carolina debuted at No. 25 overall in the Rivals rankings. The Palmetto State’s top prospect will be a name to watch if the Gamecocks decide to make a move.

Power forward Zaniya Johnson from Biloxi, Mississippi also does not hold a public South Carolina offer. However, the 6-4 forward has taken an unofficial visit to Columbia. She debuted at No. 38 overall in the Rivals rankings.
