South Carolina guard Ta’Niya Latson has signed an NIL deal with Unrivaled, the women’s professional three-on-three league.

Latson is one of 14 college players Unrivaled signed to NIL deals, the league announced on Saturday. The announcement came at an event at WNBA All-Star Weekend as the league prepares for its second season.

Unrivaled is a three-on-three basketball league that was founded by WNBA players Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. The league plays in the winter, during the WNBA offseason, and bills itself as an alternative to playing overseas.

Former Gamecocks Allisha Gray and Aliyah Boston played in Unrivaled last season.

Latson led the nation in scoring last season at Florida State with 25.5 points per game. She is projected to go in the first half of the first round of next year’s WNBA Draft.

The other players signed are former Gamecock MiLaysia Fulwiley, Azzi Fudd, Flau’jae Johnson, Sarah Strong, Hannah Hidalgo, Olivia Miles, Kiki Rice, Lauren Betts, Sienna Betts, Madison Booker, Audi Crooks, Syla Swords, and JuJu Watkins, who will likely miss most or all of next season with a torn ACL.

Last season, Unrivaled had deals with Johnson and Paige Bueckers, who is now a rookie in the WNBA. They were also offered equity in the league, something the current round of deals no longer includes.
