Victaria Saxton was selected by the Indiana Fever with the 25th pick in the WNBA Draft.
Saxton becomes the 18th Gamecock selected in the WNBA Draft and the 14th of the Dawn Staley era. She is the fifth Gamecock drafted Monday, following Aliyah Boston (first), Laeticia Amihere (eighth), Zia Cooke (10th), and Brea Beal (24th).
Saxton played five seasons for the Gamecocks and is the career leader in games played. Dawn Staley often described her as low-maintenance and high-production.
